Retail Sales Associate / Key Holder

Interested in sustainability and helping others live a less wasteful lifestyle? We are hiring a Retail Sales Associate / Key Holder at our refill station located in scenic Topanga Canyon.

This position includes 2 - 3 days a week. Shifts will be between 2 - 4 hours long. Friday through Sunday is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reliably opens and closes the store.
• Serves customers by helping them select and fill products.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
• Responds to customers’ questions.
• Directs customers by escorting them through store process.
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
• Manages financial transactions.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
• Alerts management of potential security issues.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Assists with behind the scenes washing, filling, lifting, cleaning bulk products and containers.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Manages till at end of day.

Store / position details:

• 10am - 6pm everyday
• The position would be part time < 20hrs to start full days Friday through Sunday is required. With opportunity to grow. 

Flexibility for staff coverage is preferred.
